Honeywell wanted to surprise vendors and partners at their annual regional product launch event in China and sought something totally different and unique. They experience should engage their partners and show them some of Honeywell’s best and newest products. Brand Karma came up with an unconventional idea of showcasing their safety equipment through filming a VR experience on the Jin Mao Skywalk which is on the 88th floor of the Jin Mao Tower (420 meters tall) in the center of Shanghai’s financial district. At the product launch event, the experience was setup inside a tent, with VR head-mounted displays showing attendees the eye-popping experience of what it’s truly like to be on the sky walk. To really get attendees to immerse in the experience, Brand Karma also had attendees put on actual Honeywell safety equipment, blending the virtual and real.
