Board of Directors

Bill Black

Bill Black has over 30 years experience in every facet of hotel management and development across the Asia-Pacific hospitality industry. Having worked for Regent Hotels, Four Seasons Hotels, independent luxury properties and managed his own boutique hotel group, Bill, a co-founder and most recently retired as President of SilverNeedle Hospitality in Singapore (now Next Story Group).

An innovative hotelier, Bill has opened and/or managed over 16 properties in the region. His comprenensive experience in Asia and especially South East Asia allows him to break conventional hospitality modes to set new benchmarks for Asian design, facilities, service and profitability. With a reputation as a hotel manager's manager, Bill is passionate and sensitive to local culture and traditions.




A. Patrick Imbardelli

Patrick is an internationally respected business leader with more than 30 years’ experience in the hotel and hospitality industry. During his distinguished career, Patrick has worked with companies such as InterContinental Hotels Group, Hilton International and Pan Pacific Hotels Group. His achievements include: capital restructures, investments in developing countries, integrating hotel management companies, businesses and brands. He has received many honors and accolades for his corporate achievements and involvement in the community. Patrick now runs a private investment company from Singapore and Sydney, as well as serving as an advisor for organizations in the US and Asia.

Patrick drove the growth and later privatization of one of Asia’s largest hotel management and ownership companies, Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG) During his time as PPHG chief executive, Patrick successfully drove both the Pan Pacific and PARKROYAL hotel brands in North America, China, Japan, Southeast Asia and Australia. Prior to that, Patrick was Asia Pacific CEO of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), a FTSE 100 PLC in the UK. During his leadership, IHG became the largest and most established hotel brand and management company in Asia Pacific. Patrick headed the team that established the brands of InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn into leadership positions throughout the region and engineered the joint venture between IHG and ANA Hotels to form the largest foreign hotel management company in Japan.

Patrick has a Master of Finance (Honors) from Baruch College - The City University of New York and is a member of the prestigious Beta Gamma Sigma. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), as well a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID).




Luis Miranda

Mr Luis Miranda quit working full-time in 2010 to focus on not-for-profits and driving his kids and wife crazy. He has had more success with the second.

Luis has been involved in setting up 2 companies - HDFC Bank (India's most valuable bank) and IDFC Private Equity (India's largest alternatives investment platform).

Luis is Senior Advisor to Morgan Stanley Infrastructure and is also involved with various not-for-profit initiatives mainly related to education, healthcare and capacity building, many with his wife, Fiona Dias Miranda. Some of these include Centre for Civil Society, Educate Girls, CARE India, Collective Good Foundation and CORO. Luis is a member of the Global Advisory Board of Chicago Booth.

Luis received an MBA from the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.




Sriram Nadathur

Mr. Sriram Nadathur is a Director, and, the Chief Investment Officer of the Nadathur Group of companies. He manages the Group’s investment portfolio of over USD750 Million. He also heads healthcare and life sciences businesses and investments for the group, and, has helped incubate a portfolio of ventures across sectors including drug discovery, diagnostics, nutrition, agri-biotech, hospitals, and healthcare & pharmaceutical services. Sriram concurrently serves on the board of the Group’s technology portfolio covering security products and services, digital and traditional media, cloud-based low-cost workflow solutions, mobile consumer applications, and online assessment and hiring platforms.

Prior to joining the Nadathur Group, Sriram was part of the founding team of Syndicated Research Group, a subscription-based advisory services company focused on CFOs and Heads of HR of Fortune 500 companies. He served as Vice President of Operations as well as a Research Analyst for five years. Earlier, Sriram had spent four years at World Research Advisory holding a double portfolio as its Client Services Manager and Research Analyst. He was part of the initial start-up team at the advisory firm which started in Boston, MA under the World Congress. As the Client Services Manager, Sriram was responsible for onboarding clients from Fortune 500 companies, working with them and internal analysts to ensure timely resolution of research queries and delivery of periodic reports. He also managed client conferences and events. As the Research Analyst, he was in charge of covering various aspects of the treasury function and producing research reports and presentations.

Sriram has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from R.V. College, Bangalore and an MBA from Northeastern University, Boston. He also is currently pursuing an MS in Biomimicry from Arizona State University. He is an active philanthropist and supports several charitable causes including nature conservation, breast cancer research and livelihood programs.
